WTSE 2007 Career Arrows
.
Webelos career arrows are a traditional way of honoring the Webelos who have attained the highest award in Cub Scouting, the Arrow of Light. They are decorated in a manner so that they represent the various ranks, activity pins, and awards the Scout has earned in their Cub Scout "career". They are usually given to the Webelos in a ceremony conducted by the Order of the Arrow. The ceremony usually includes one arrow that "is not worthy", so you will want to have an extra arrow handy. To schedule the Order of the Arrow team you can use the Arrow of Light Ceremony Registration link on the left side of this page.
To display the arrows, a plaque is often given to the Webelos as well. These plaques can either be made or purchased through a variety of sources. There are many styles of plaques used.
There are different ways to build the arrows and plaques. There will be a class on making arrows and plaques given at Cub Scout Roundtable. A seperate class will be also be given at WTSE. Other resources you can use for information include your pack's Webelos leaders from last year and the internet.
