ABOUT THIS SITE

The purpose of this site is to help the Scout leader encourage his/her Scouts to fulfill their duty to God. This can be done in a variety of ways including the Religious Emblems Program and Scouts' Own Interfaith Worship Service.

I have tried to be diligent in keeping the material presented here current and accurate. As with everything else we do the religious emblems programs are constantly changing. New emblems are developed. Requirements for existing ones change. Contact information changes. If you know of changes that I have not incorporated into the site, please feel free to use the link below to contact me.

This is an unofficial site. I created it as part of my Wood Badge ticket. If you haven't attended Wood Badge, I highly encourage you to do so. It is a lot of fun and refreshingly enthusiastic recharge of your Scouting spirit. Many think that Wood Badgers do what they do to simply cross an item off their ticket list. That is not so. We do things like this because we want to. We have a passion for Scouting and for the area we decide to concentrate on. For some of us, we discovered that passion at Wood Badge. It is the most satisfying experience I have had to date.

Very little of the material on this site is original. Most of it came from other sources. I believe that everything I have borrowed is permissable to do so.
